Now come the Calls for UNITY. What will be your response?

We were expected to HOLD OUR NOSE for RINOs (OK, I myself have made the call to do so, for the long term good. For the bigger picture. For the “Greater Good!” A RINO is still better than a full-on Liberal Democrat (and indeed true 99.9% of the time))… But now, some expect us to now hold our nose for a RINWSOF (Republican In No Way Shape Or Form). He’s not worthy of being called a RINO. It would be insulting to actual/real Establishment RINOs! Some of the RINOs have, at least, some Republican values. Can be counted on to do the Right thing once in awhile (where-as, again, if we allow full-on Liberal Democrat to be elected over the RINO that will be with us 25%, 35%, sometimes 50%, but that full-on Democrat will be with us, if lucky, 1% of the time).

John McCain and Mitt Romney (although RINOs, and I did not Vote for them in those Primaries) still had some redeeming qualities and values – so after Democrats (like for Trump) meddled in our Primaries (again, the need for us to DEMAND our Primaries be Closed to only Registered Republicans, and one’s that have been on record as Registered Republicans for at least a year) and helped get them to be the GOP nominee – I worked for their Campaigns and Voted for them in the General Election (those RINOs were indeed, % of alignment with the Platform and Conservative Values, better than the full-on Democrat/Socialist/Communist). Donald Trump DOES NOT have any redeeming qualities, values, or core-principles – therefore, for the first time since 1980 I will NOT be working for or voting for the GOP POTUS nominee.

Of the 17 original Candidates there was only 1 that was so low, so pathetic, so NOT anywhere close to being Republican, so alien to the Party Platform and Conservative values (to anyone who actually bothered to listen to him Flip-Flop and flounder about grasping for what he thought Conservatives believe and want to hear)(cannot call him a RINO, Please don’t call him a RINO, he is far lower than that and it would be insulting to real RINOs) – people made that CINO/PLINO/RINWSOF the nominee! All in the name of sticking it to The GOPe? Congratualtions, you stuck it to them alright (and yourselves). Cutting off your Nose just to spite your Face, as the saying goes. By glossing over a few actual Conservatives (A chance at Reagan, for someone that I fail at even garnering a comparison) and giving us someone far worse than the RINOs in the Race.

We talk about Principles and try to balance that with being reasonable and compromising from time to time (something the GOPEstablishment is often unwilling to do in return for their demands of loyalty from us, but (to be FAIR, not looking to be completely unreasonable and hyperbolic) do on some occasions), while many of us are not willing to completely sell our soles and sell-out every single Principle and Value we have. There becomes a Bridge-To-Far, for those who actually have Values/Principles, and this has crossed it.

I am NOT a part of the “Libertarian” Wing of the GOP that is constantly whining about the Candidates and always threatening to Walk Away (have little respect for their endless threats and lack of any loyalty at all, I have remained loyal since becoming Republican in 1978). But, Congratualtions President Hillary. Trump will be trounced.

I get the appeal from some of the #LowInformationVoters and/or RINO wing of the Party, some acting out like Liberal Democrats always do Trumped (no pun intended) up on Emotion willing to act on that Emotion abounding Logic, Reason, REALITY. However, several Conservatives that I know that constantly railed against RINOs doing so (early on, not after a RINO or RINWSOF becomes nominee and need for Unity)? They constantly (rightfully) call for the need to defeat RINOs/RINWSOFs. Call to RECALL some current RINOs (I’m not going to bother to financially support any Recall attempts now, not after those demonstrate they want to recall “certain” RINOs while backing others for Party Chair and/or in this POTUS Primary). Some, to back the RINWSOF in this Primary over a clear Conservative (and a few other, varying degree Conservatives) makes me question their Judgement going forward.

I have always said, “I am CONSERVATIVE by choice, and REPUBLICAN only by necessity!” and (for at least this Election cycle, the next Governors/Senate Election cycle, the 2020 Primary) will Fight, but after what may happen in 2018 and 2020 (who knows, we’ll see) I may indeed have to re-examine my position on that latter part.

I probably should have broke this post into sub-thoughts and separate posts/comments?!?! No doubt people will want to attack me by nit-picking a sentence here and there and avoiding most of the rest of the substance and the overall context. AGAIN, I AM NOT LEAVING THE PARTY (YET, again, have little respect for certain folks that have always threatened such). Those of us actually holding to our Values/Principles will be working to avoid complete disaster of losing the House and Senate, and working (where possible) to replace some RINOs via other Primaries (like Kelli Ward for US Senate to #RetireMcCain – http://KelliWard.com, helping Primary Challenge as many we can where we can, and yes then unify to re-elect those RINOs overall full-on Democrats if necessary), and the need to be around to pick up the pieces and resume the fight to make the GOP Conservative (I’ll PRAY Trump can surprise us, but I’ll certainly not hold my breath) after Trump further destroys it from the already disaster RINOs (Local and National) have been making of it.

I know the need to remain and Fight and urge YOU to remain and Fight. I have chided people who constantly whine, but never get involved: If you want to effect the outcome of the Game you have to Suit up and be amidst the Team to get on the Field of Play - rather than scream, hollar, and moan, from the Bleachers! We have a need to get more REAL CONSERVATIVES to become Precinct Delegates, not having some of them give up and drop out of the Party.

There is time between now and November. I am going to need to here the greatest of all-time greats pick for VP. It is going to take far more than that though. I am going to need to hear, in advance, some Cabinet Picks (related: http://rattlewithus.ning.com/forum/topics/dream-cabinet ). What Trump’s “great Brain” he boasts about, his ability to “Hire the best people” he insists (despite the Primary Campaign example to the contrary). Who will be the Cabinet. IF a Cabinet is named in advance with the Crème of the Crop that can potentially SAVE US FROM TRUMP AND TRUMP FROM HIMSELF from doing some really stupid s***. Then, only then, will I reconsider my position. YES, spare me the SCOTUS argument that I’ve made over and over myself, but is invalid when talking about a guy who has been on record (not just before, but even during this Primary, again for those who bothered to actually listen and pay attention and not living in denial) as saying he is willing to compromise with the likes of Chucky Schumer and Harry Reid and has a long time record of funding Liberal Democrats.
