Trump Must Be Prepared to Suspend his Campaign Temporarily if this Hurricane is Really Bad

One of the things that did Mitt Romney in was the response of the President to Hurricane Sandy.  It was admittedly after the fact but perhaps Romney should have temporarily suspended his campaign and encouraged donations to the American Red Cross and other groups.  Might have set a great tone – have canned goods brought to Romney rallies etc.  Could have showed his caring and his organizational skills.

Well, let’s not let a good Sandy (great pun wasn’t it?) idea go to waste!

Trump should be prepared to have the following:

1.  Generic ads encouraging giving to the Red Cross and similar charities
2. Have some sort of item – the canned goods at the rallies idea is acceptable – or consider canceling rallies for a short time.
3. Go to the area when it is appropriate – give away some of your own money too!

Very important to have the right tone here.  I think this sort of thing will force the media to deal with it – even if they will spin it in the worst possible light.  Let them spin – they will have to admit the facts.

Be ready Trump/Pence campaign for the storm!
