Eagle Forum Welcomes New Executive Director Tabitha Walter

(Washington, D.C.)  Eagle Forum, the pro-family 501 (c)(4) organization founded by Phyllis Schlafly in 1975,  is delighted to welcome Tabitha Walter to the Eagle Forum team as the Washington, D.C. Executive Director.

Mrs. Walter began her public policy career working as an advocate at the West Virginia State Legislature.  Most recently, Mrs. Walter served as Government Affairs Office Coordinator for Family Research Council.  During her time with Family Research Council, Mrs. Walter developed expertise in several areas of pro-family advocacy, as well as other issues, including ending human trafficking, sexual risk avoidance, education, and opposition to marijuana legalization. Mrs. Walter earned a Master’s degree in political science from Marshall University.

“Our beloved founder, Phyllis Schlafly, had an uncanny knack for discovering talented, dynamic young women to direct our efforts in Washington, D.C., and we know Tabitha will continue this tradition,” said President Eunie Smith. “The Board of Directors and Eagle Leaders throughout the country are delighted to have found a young woman whose experience in state and federal policy advocacy and commitment to impacting pro-family policy will ensure that Eagle Forum remains a formidable force on Capitol Hill.”

The Board of Directors is also pleased to announce that Eagle Forum Board Member and former D.C. Executive Director Colleen Holcomb will continue to work on Capitol Hill as Vice-President of Government Relations.
