The Re-Inventing of America

I didn’t intend to jump into this, but this is what I do. I’m including our most recent article on the Iran controversy. It was submitted by Peter Ehlers. You don’t know who that is, do you? Well, he is a British citizen, born in Iran, who has studied the situation in the Middle East for longer than most of you have been alive. He is my mentor. I know that doesn’t seem to make sense, a proper gentleman and someone like me, but it is true. He submitted this article as a head on explanation of the most recent event in The Persian Gulf. And you won’t read it because it hit the national trades via the Tea Party Tribune. Peter in no conceivable way could be considered to be a “Trumpet!” Yet, the Trib printed his words, and you will not read them. Racism comes in all flavors.

If you want barbaric behavior you need to look no farther than the Middle East. The religions of that region are the Westboro Baptist Church on steroids. They will stone a pretty girl to death for being pretty, and the only reason Westboro doesn’t do that is that we have a constitution and not Sharia Law!

America is torn along ideological lines. Extreme ideological lines. You are either left or right, and there is no middle ground. There is no compromise. Only hate, and unreasonable assumptions. To the American culture it is inconceivable that someone can be a mixture of liberal and conservative, right and left, loving yet firm. If a couple takes a traditional wedding picture someone will claim the white cake is racist. People demanding “reparations” when the only cotton they ever picked was in their closet, and others claiming to be white supremacy supporters would have been the first ones hung in the 1950s Louisiana that I grew up in.

We have overlooked the fact that we will all bequeath this brave new world to something known as the “Z” generation. The Children of the Corn. The sons and daughters of the Millennials, that entitled, non-productive offspring of the Baby Boomers who sought to thwart nature using a book by a deranged doctor as a Bible for child rearing. And the butterfly effect has brought us here.

It will be a good thing when we’re all gone, and the Zs are in charge. Although they may not actually kill us, which may be a distinct possibility, they will read our obituaries with a great deal of enthusiasm. Then the Civil War will be over. Then the Civil Rights marches will be but a mention in the history books. Then there will be a new America. And all of our forefathers’ dreams will be fulfilled.
