Examples of the corrupt nature of government

Javier Milei of Argentina spoke a while back at Davos, Switzerland to a rather hostile crowd at the World Economic Forum (WEF). View it here (the actual talking starts about 4 minutes into the recording.) We understand that some people reported that all of six people applauded his words. No doubt part of that was because he clearly stated that “the state is not the solution” but rather that the state is the “problem itself.” He attacked all of the WEF’s most prized sacred cows.

One of the greatest problems in the Argentine is the vast network and history of corruption in government (and really, most walks of life). It is not alone in that: many if not all Hispanic nations have such a background and such a problem. Including such nations as New Mexico, Arizona, and California. It started in Old Spain, and no doubt is tied in part to the glorification of kings and the military during the 700+ years of Reconquista. Liberating their people and land from Islam sadly led directly to tyranny and foul ideas of government.

But it is not limited to Argentina, or Latin America, or even New Mexico. All governments are subject to the corroding influence and power of corruption. Not just authoritarian but so-called democratic government.

Let us look at another example of that. Almost a year ago, as reported here, the National Bio and Agri-Defense Laboratory opened up. This Level-4 facility will deal with pathogens and other threats similar to what is found in the infamous Wuhan Labs in Red China. The thing cost more than $900 million and has taken nearly a decade and a half to locate, design, redesign, and build. It won’t actually be able to be used until (maybe) sometime this year. And it is located in the heartland: in Manhattan, Kansas.

Why Manhattan Kansas? One primary reason: Kansas State University. One possible secondary reason: theoretically the location near Fort Riley offers improved security and ability to respond. (Don’t hold your breath). K-State is the real reason for this lab being put there: the greed of a land-grant, Woke university for big fedgov bucks and the prestige and all that. And knowing how to play the political game: they had to fight off a lot of competition for nearly a billlion bucks up front and millions more each and every year until the FedGov collapses. Knowing that they will be working with the CDC and therefore with the CCP’s various tools are just bonus points. K-State (like most of the land-grant universities) has long ago forgotten they were created to protect and improve American agriculture as their priority: now they are all just big “Enormous U” institutions that propagandize their students and corrupt society. SDSU and UNL etc. are really no different. And remember that many of their faculty are more or less committed to the idea that humans are a plague on Mother Gaea and need to be severely culled back…

The location is “justified” but seems to be based very much on the greasing of palms, directly and indirectly: corruption. Corruption at all levels. And corruption which, among other things, places a lab dealing with pathogens right in the heart of cattle and corn and wheat country, and in an area known for such nice things as tornadoes which destroy entire towns. Opposition for sound reasons caused the government goons in several administrations to double down – oh, and double the costs!

Shall we look at another example where corruption is a major factor in not just criminal actions but in promoting and sustaining immoral actions that harm people enormously?

One of the reasons we are told to go to a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is to end money laundering. Doing so will end both sexual slavery and the distribution and sale of illicit drugs.

Cashless society ending sex trafficking and drug trafficking? I understand your thoughts and I once shared them, but it is now clear that is NOT possible: there are too many work-arounds and too much corruption in those government employees and businesses.  No matter how the systems are programmed, there will be ways to launder that money: we already see convenience stores being used as fronts for selling drugs. Hotels and pawnshops and other businesses can front for prostitution, and online sales outlets can and do it already. Remember the old Boston Irish definition of an honest cop: one who stays bought.

These are just a tiny part of the examples of government corruption that make human mandatory government the evil that it is.

So why, why, do we put up with it? How many more times will Milei or some lover of liberty like him have to tell us this before we take action to do away with this filthy danger to so many and so much?
