We’re Going to Die! We’re Going to Die!

Democrats, globalists, the media have been telling us we’re going to die for decades. Always it’s 10 years away if we don’t stop something IMMEDIATELY!

When I was in grade school it was “DUCK AND COVER”! To protect us from an atom bomb we practiced ducking under our desks or going out into the corridors crouching against the wall with our hands covering our necks. As IF that could protect us from an atom bomb blast. It certainly did scare us.

Shortly after, late sixties, early seventies, we had the “population bomb”. If we didn’t reduce the population we were all going to die. As the responsible people we are most of us didn’t have more than two children.

We had holes in the Ozone layer so we had to stop using airasoles. No hairspray or deodorant in cans. Turns out there have been holes in the ozone layer since time began. If I recall correctly we had acid rain about that time as well. We imagined rain drops burning holes in us.

Mid seventies, to late eighties we were going to freeze over. The Ice Age was upon us. The poles were going to freeze and the only inhabitable area would be the equator. We wouldn’t be able to grow enough food so we’d all starve to death.

We were going to run out of fossil fuels in 10 or 15 years so we needed to find other sources of fuel for our cars.

Oh, but wait, now in the late eighties, to late nineties it became global warming. If we didn’t stop using fossil fuels we were going to warm up the atmosphere, the polar caps would melt and we’d all drown. We kept being warned about the “rising sea levels” by Al Gore and Obama who owned beach front property.

Nineteen ninety eight to 2000 it was Y2K. Our computers were all going to fail because they weren’t programmed beyond 1999. Our grid was going to go down, we’d have no electricity so nothing would work. No phones, no working hospitals, no airplanes could fly, etc. We all waited for 12:01pm 2000 for the big disaster and…nothing.

Then when we realized the earth was not actually warming, they changed it to “climate change”. Normal weather, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, forest fires, etc. were now caused by humans using fossil fuels. We needed to go “Net Zero”(which, BTW, wouldn’t sustain life) by 2030. We were shutting down coal plants (40% of our energy), oil drilling (nearly everything is made from petroleum products), natural gas, and nuclear (greenest energy). What the media neglected to tell the public is that if we covered every inch of the land mass of America with wind and solar farms it wouldn’t produce the amount of energy we use now, let alone what we need in the future. Plus neither wind mills or solar panels are “green”. Climate Change had people hysterical. People glued themselves to highways, to museum artwork. According to Greta Thunberg we all should be dead by now.

When the globalists realized they were losing that war, surveys showing it wasn’t even on the top ten list of concerns, they found an even scarier threat to our lives. COVID-19. We’re all going to die THIS TIME! Wear a mask, stay six feet from each other, get an experimental vaccine or lose your job. The sad thing is fear mongering works. Skeptics are silenced. If people were hysterical over “climate change” they were even more hysterical over COVID. Even though we know masks don’t work, people would get screamed at if they didn’t wear one. The completely bogus six foot distance did unimaginable damage to our children primarily, but to all of us. It kept kids from school for nearly 2 years, it stopped us from having birthdays, weddings, graduations, holiday get togethers. It kept people from comforting sick and dying loved ones. We were prevented from using Ivermectin or hydrocodone that proved to be preventatives and cures for the coronavirus. The media called ivermectin “horse paste” and mocked or silenced any doctor saying otherwise. They knew but didn’t tell the public that ivermectin had won the Noble Prize for its human use. No mention of the dangerous, serious side effects of the vaccine. The fear mongering used during COVID resulted in people losing all trust in our institutions. COVID was the worst Crime Against Humanity in my lifetime.

And now, AI! We’re now being told AI is going to kill us all in 10 years. The “Climate Change” fear has ended because data centers and AI need more than three times the amount of energy we use now. So, the globalists now want “all of the above” sources of energy, especially the dreaded nuclear. So, what is this fear mongering about? Why are the companies developing AI wanting the federal government to regulate them? If they are terrified about what AI can do why don’t they regulate themselves? In the past when companies wanted the government to regulate their business it was to regulate smaller competitors out of business and become a monopoly. I suspect this is the same. AGI and ASI scare me however we can’t stop or even slow down AI here in America. China has no intention of slowing down or stopping. We can’t allow China to pull ahead or we will be controlled by them forever.

We need to have cooler heads. We need to be more skeptical. We’ve been told we have 10 years to stop the end of the world my entire life. We’re still here. We couldn’t destroy what God created if we tried.
