UK Teen Arrested For Making Local Politician Look Like A Rabbit

The UK is on the verge of a political sea change, or, perhaps a mass rebellion.  Everyone sees it, including the leftist political leaders currently running policy in the failing country.  And when political elites feel threatened, they have a tendency to overreact to every perceived expression of mutiny.   

To understand how far gone the UK is, one need only look at the long list of wrongful and politically motivated arrests over the past five years, including people who simply posted funny memes online.  Not to mention all the police intimidation for displaying the British flag in view of people who don’t like it (migrants and leftists).  However, the ugliest government actions revolve around the UK’s attempt to suppress or destroy Gen Z conservative boys.  

British authorities have taken a special interest in the rise of conservative and nationalist ideals among teenage males.  They have launched extensive propaganda campaigns to demonize conservative thinking among younger Brits and portrayed boys as “ticking time bombs” of racism and misogyny.  This has culminated in an effort to utilize teachers as veritable secret police tasked with weeding out potential “thought criminals” in public schools. 

The fear is mounting within the establishment as general elections approach in 2029.  They have two more years to get control of the narrative, or, lock down the UK population.  Officials have pushed to lower the legal voting age to 16-years-old for general elections with the hope of countering the explosion of nationalist movements.  Many younger Brits will be eligible to vote by 2029, and the focus of the government is to crush any right-leaning voices that might ruin the agenda. 

This helps to explain why A 15-year-old Reform UK activist was arrested by West Midlands Police in early August 2026 after Conservative Wolverhampton City Councillor Simon Bennett complained about a series of Facebook posts mocking him.  Details of the arrest have only recently been made public.    

To clarify, in the UK, Conservative Party officials (Tories) are highly liberal in their policies and are not truly “conservative”.  In other words, in the US they would be considered left wing.  The Conservatives were instrumental in promoting mass third-world immigration into the UK, undermining the primary mandate of the Brexit vote. 

Councillor Simon Bennett is no exception and his effort to silence a teen for Facebook criticisms is bizarre.  The 15-year-old Reform activist made several posts mocking Bennett, but the last straw appears to have been an AI image of the Councillor as a bunny rabbit with the caption: 

“Nibble… nibble… crunch… crunch… Can you hear it? That’s the sound of a rabbit devouring the last remaining shreds of Wolverhampton Conservatives’ credibility…”  

The teen also reportedly posted criticisms of Bennett’s wardrobe after he showed up to a public meeting in short-shorts.  The post suggested Bennett “was dressed like a rent boy” (slang for male prostitute).  Police argue this comment alone could be considered a “hate crime”.  

Four officers arrived at the boy’s home on the morning of August 3rd, 2026 while he was sleeping.  They arrested him in view of neighbors, seized his phone and laptop, took DNA, fingerprints, and a mugshot, and held him briefly in a cell.

He was released on bail with conditions (including restrictions on attending council meetings).  As of late October, the investigation remains open. 

The Free Speech Union has taken the case, calling the response a “shocking overreach.” They have been exploring a potential claim for wrongful arrest. Critics of the police action note the increasing volume of UK arrests for communications offenses and argue that elected officials should not treat routine political mockery as a police matter.  Supporters of the investigation point to UK laws on harassment and malicious communications (designed to target right-wing speech).   

In the US, this kind of trolling is expected and protected under the First Amendment, but there are no such individual rights in the UK.  The criminality of speech is ambiguous and up to the interpretation of officials and law enforcement.  Hate Crime laws are particularly open-ended, allowing the government to target almost anyone for almost any public comments.
