Does this surprise anyone that the announcement waited until after Nov. 8 and Dec 6. GA runoff Elections?? Call my cynical, but it is obvious to me that they knew such a ridiculous swap (an arms dealer, for a moron WNBA player) wouldn’t sell, and therefore waited. And, again, meanwhile a guy who did nothing – held as a political hostage in Russia. Tell us, just what incentive does Russia have to earnestly discuss the release of Whelan now except for some other known Spy or ProRussia Terrorists (plural)?!?! This is every bit as bad as the moron #ObamaBiden regime trade of Terrorists for US Traitor Bowe Bergdahl negotiated with the Taliban in Afghanistan after so many died due to his Treason (and others too in attempted search-and-rescue for him when he walked away from the U.
