Minnesota BCA Lies to Grand Jury, Killer Cop Goes Free

On September 14, 2011 a Winona County deputy sherrif, John Hazelton killed an unarmed man, 25-year-old Chase Kolstad in Minnesota City who was not a suspect in any crime. The deputy said the man had a weapon but the county sheriff’s department, who did the investigation, and witnesses said the man had no weapon. The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said there was a weapon although none was found and presented their version to the Winona County Grand Jury. Based on the perjurious evidence fabricated by the BCA, on March 8, 2012 the Grand Jury found the deputy was justified in murdering an unarmed man who was not a suspect in any crime. The man was killed with a single shot to the head, clearly the deputy meant to kill.

Note that the reporter states that no gun was found yet the Associated Press version on the same page say there was a gun.

The State of Minnesota covers up a blatant murder and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension lies to the Grand Jury.

The deputy who comitted the murder was rewarded with a two-week vacation with pay.  

This should outrage everyone but in Minnesota the sheeple are so brainwashed they believe that if the police say it, it’s true. Minnesota juries consistantly find people guilty of crimes where the police have little or no evidence to support their case because the people don’t believe the evidence or lack thereof, they believe the police when the testify and are shocked if anyone implies the police would lie. I have interviewed several defense attorneys and was told you cannot get a fair trial in Minnesota on the county level because the jury will always believe the police.

This is just another case of the police lying to protect crimes commited by law enforcement.
