Outrageous: Veterans Receiving Letters Prohibiting The Purchase, Possession, Receipt, Or Transport Of A Firearms & Ammunition
Every day I read the news and become more and more disheartened at the volume of attacks taking place that damn near everybody could care less about. Only a select few you find online seem to be aware of the these threats against Liberty and Freedom that are taking place. I find I have to take breaks from the Internet because of all the bad news bringing me down, and seeing so many who have no clue of the severity these Attacks pose.

How would you feel if you received a letter from the U.S. Government informing you that because of a physical or mental condition that the government says you have it is proposing to rule that you are incompetent to handle your own financial affairs? Suppose that letter also stated that the government is going to appoint a stranger to handle your affairs for you at your expense? That would certainly be scary enough but it gets worse.
What if that letter also stated: “A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both pursuant to the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, Pub.L.No. 103-159, as implemented at 18, United States Code 924(a)(2).”?
That makes is sound like something right from a documentary on a tyrannical dictatorship somewhere in the world. Yet, as I write this I have a copy of such a letter right in front of me. It is being sent by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to hundreds, perhaps thousands, of America’s heroes. In my capacity as Executive Director of the United States Justice Foundation (USJF) I have been contacted by some of these veterans and the stories I am getting are appalling.

Our nation is more interested in being entertained (sports, TV, games, etc) than truly understanding the path we are on and have been traveling down. We’ve become a nation of self centered people who can not longer see truth. We have a nation of people who see what is happening, but because of the normalcy factor, can’t believe their eyes and refuse to acknowledge the truth…… I woke up in early 2008 and have been in search of understanding where we have been and where we are headed and it does not look pretty.
For those who seek “entertainment”, ignorance is bliss and perhaps an easier path than the one I’ve been on for over 5 years. It sounds like LedaOhio9 has been on this same path…….

And under this definition, an international body could make a determination that the United States is incapable of handling its own financial affairs (inability or unwillingness to balance a budget; the addiction to debt; possessing weapons of mass destruction) and rule that it should be disarmed by absorbing it into a group of nations.
But is the resolve there “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth” as Lincoln desired?
And did you hear that if the Ft. Hood, Texas soldiers donate to a TEA party or a Christian party, they will be PUNISHED by our government?
The left are experts at demonizing their opponents. They have attacked those in the TEA Party since they took power in 2010. Ridicule and marginalizing and throwing out accusations of racism and bigotry are effective to shut people up and keep them silent. That is what we have witnessed since the chairman has taken office…..

PTSD vets do not concern me. Just because one suffers from PTSD does not make one dangerous or crazy. It just means you’ve experienced some crazy, inhumane shiite that has left you with some very bad memories. You can’t not be affected by that if you are truly human.
Now liberalism PROVES one is dangerous AND crazy and therefore liberals should not be allowed to own guns or to breed or hold government positions or anything like that.

I am a Vet with many family members who are also Vets…never seen a letter like this. More BS methinks.
