The 11 guest carriages of Golden Chariot are picture perfect replica of cultural ethos and architectural traditions of erstwhile south Indian dynasties. The ceilings, wall panels and furniture carved with exquisite workmanship are suggestive of Hoysala and Mysore architectural style. With a capacity to accommodate 88 guests in all, the 13 guest cabins comes equipped with modern facilities such as Wi-Fi internet, LCD television, DVD players, vanity desk and en-suite bathrooms.

Just like accommodation, the dining facilities on board Golden Chariot train are sumptuous to the hilt. The two ornately designed restaurants of this luxury tourist train serves a delectable spread of vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisines on the platter of the guests. Madira, the nonchalant lounge bar serves a choicest collection of international wines and spirits to lift your spirits high. Named after the stone chariots in Hampi, Golden Chariot with its two weeklong itineraries- Pride of the South and Splendor of the South- takes guests on a whirlwind tour across historically prominent, culturally potent and naturally blessed destinations in south India. While Pride of the South traverses the course of Karnataka, the Splendor of the South encompasses the temple town of Tamil Nadu and backwater heaven of Kerala.
