Disney Enter the Make-Up Market!
The giant Disney has launched a new make-up line, which has been aptly named ‘Beautifully Disney’. First in line for the launch was “Wickedly Beautiful “ which as you can imagine was developed based around some of the heroic characters of the Disney films, of course, not to mention also the some of the much loved/hated villains from the Disney films too.
We have managed to secure some comments from the Erin Catalano, who just happens to be the Merchandise Manager for Disney, he said: “We wanted to create another avenue for our guests to enjoy the Disney brand and something that’s specific to [Disney]. Some of the other collections that are out there are limited in nature. So once they’re gone, they’re gone.”
The packaging will reflect the wonderful Disney tails, and children and adults alike can wear make-up inspired by their favourite characters. This will include the delightful Ariel – Mermaid and much loved star; the beautiful Cinderella – who was so famous for her little glass slipper and the many more. The product range will be available within store all across the world. The new ranges are, thankfully, not just exclusive to the Disney stores, they will also be available within the theme parks and on Disney Cruises. Not to mention that all of the ranges will be included within the Disney online stores, and as part of the collection there will be eye shadow, lip gloss and various nail polishes.
Lisa Bergman, product developer for Beautifully Disney, said “With our children’s cosmetics, it’s as sparkly as their costumes they wear. Adults do love their sparkle and shimmer and glitter, but we executed it such as a way, using a very fine grind on them, so the shimmers are more subtle yet just as effective. We want it to be the product that women put in their purses and carry with them every day and use them day-in and day-out.”
