When I received the Gurin Electric Compact Dehumidifier, I was excited because I needed a solution to a damp, humid bathroom with no exhaust fan. The bathroom is small, so the Gurin Electric Compact Dehumidifier should have been the ideal solution, right?
According to the manufacturer:

It is perfect for bathrooms, and small to mid-sized rooms where dampness and humidity are a problem. This unit is small enough to easily fit on your desk or workbench. It extracts the moisture from the air and stores it in a spill-proof reservoir. Just plug it in and it quietly dries the air. Features an automatic shut off switch to shut the unit off when the water reservoir is full. When this occurs a”full” indicator light will alert you when the reservoir needs to be emptied. Holds up to 16 oz. CE and UL Approved.”
The Gurin Electric Compact Dehumidifier accumulated roughly one cup of water in 3 days, which was okay. The next time around took an entire week to fill up the cup, oddly enough. The unit is very quiet, but the power adapter gets HOT so be aware. The The Gurin Electric Compact Dehumidifier may work great in a small closet or other small space, but I wouldn’t recommend it for small bathrooms.
