Naked Restaurant in London finally opens Don't ask about the Toilets

[RT News] As London’s latest pop-up restaurant, Bunyadi will add a novel perk to the capital’s already well-endowed gastronomic scene.While the edible cutlery and wood grill may draw some curious custom, the biggest novelty by far will be all the bare flesh.Restaurant founder Seb Lyall said test groups responded well to the experience.“

They felt like it was more of a social experiment than a restaurant.“When they were in that dining area, they weren’t bothered about the physical aspects of other people, it just became normal, it was just whatever.”

On arriving at the restaurant, guests are taken to a private room where they can change into a gown, which they can wear or remove during the meal.

No Hooters was not enough flashing of the flesh in the endless quest for profits and money under the money spell we all seem to be living under.

Now we have a Naked Restaurant yes with Naked Customers like the long line of other Naked themed TV shows we are now seeing to entice our jaded minds and flaccid parts.

Just one question for the patrons of this wonderful new restaurant; did you wipe the seats or does the restaurant sanitize the seats before and after each customer’s “sitting”?

Being naked on in public is the “new normal” and we are also assuming (and making an ass out of you and me) that the bathrooms in this facility are also gender neutral because what is the point in separating the sexes when everyone is already naked. Looks like another class act by the City of London.

Staff uniforms

“For logistical reasons, our waiting staff will be covering their bits and bobs,” says Lyall. “If you’re sitting and someone is serving you, the height of your face and certain parts of their bodies is kind of the same. It’s something that didn’t occur to us at first, but a customer pointed it out in an email. We were like: ‘Woah, OK. That’s interesting … one of our potential customers has thought about it, so we should think about it.’ That’s the way we let the concept develop.”

Health and safety

“There really aren’t any extra health and safety issues to worry about by having a naked restaurant,” says Lyall, “although we got a lot of guests asking: ‘Is it going to be hygienic for me to sit naked on a seat that someone else has been nude on?’ We’ve had to point out that you will be sitting on a gown, which is effectively a cushion.”

Convincing customers

“People eat naked anyway. A lot of people eat naked sitting at home,” Lyall says. “The only new thing is convincing them to do it in public. It wasn’t a problem in the end, though. We had 40,000 people apply, and we’ve only got 6,000 places. At this rate, we might open it as a permanent restaurant.”

We can only hope that the gowns are being washed properly otherwise Ramsay might be showing up, dressed we hope.
