How to Download Amazon Videos for Travel

Netflix and Amazon have quite a few original shows and movies that they produce. And that catalog is getting bigger with some exciting shows coming out in various genres. What is great about this is that you can stream these just about everywhere you are. Better yet, for travel, you can download shows and movies to watch offline on your portable device. Below is how you can download videos from Amazon on your smartphone (this would work similarly on iPad as well).
You will need an Amazon Prime subscription in order to download videos from Amazon. Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial. If you have a Prime membership with amazon.com, you have prime video included.
You would also need the Prime Video app, which you can download here.
Once inside the app, you can look through or search for your favorite show or movie
➣ Click on the show/movie
➣ For the movie, click on Download
➣ If it is a show, you have an option to download an entire season by clicking on Download Season
➣ Or you can download by episode by clicking on the [arrow] symbol to the right
➣ Once downloaded, the shows and movies will be available within the Downloads tab
➣ Switch over to that and a list of all of your downloaded shows, episodes, and movies will be listed
You can enjoy any of these while you are commuting, en route to your destination, or just hanging around without a need for an internet connection. This way you will have no buffering and waiting for the show to load. And you will not incur exorbitant data fees for streaming.
