Tip #1: Rideshare

Rideshare companies such as Uber and Lyft have exploded in popularity over the past several years. Touted as a convenient and affordable mode of transportation whenever you may need it, ride sharing can be an excellent way to get around. In order to save some cash, try scheduling your ride share a day in advance. Doing so will not only help you better prepare but will save you some coins as well. 

Tip #2: Solo Travel

There is no experience quite like solo travel. With it comes the ability to travel where and when you want, with nothing and no one to hold you back. On the flip side, solo travelers should be cautious and smart when it comes to their adventures. Sharing your itinerary or location with at least one trusted person is a smart and easy way to ensure your safety.

Tip #3: Exploration in the In-Between

Sometimes schedules don’t add up exactly as you expected, and you find yourself with a chunk of time during a layover or before a hotel check in. What to do? Amanda recommends utilizing luggage lockers. Luggage lockers are typically a pay-per-hour service that let you stash your luggage safely while you explore! This can lighten your load and allow you more freedom to take advantage of your destination without worrying about lugging around suitcases or keeping them secure.
