Feds Use Google to Track You

After reading the article on Cnet available here titled
“U.S. seizes sites linked to copyright infringement”
I decided to visit one of the seized sites just to get a look for myself. I also viewed the source code for the page that the FBI put in place as the web sites default page that shows their logos and informs the viewer of the sites current seized status.
Inspecting the code I noticed that they are using Google Analytics to capture data about anyone who attempts to view the now restricted sites.
I picked the first on in the list Torrent-finder.com. for those who dont want to become part of a statistic here is the source code for this page.
#<script type="text/javascript">
# var _gaq = _gaq || [];
# _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-19806388-1']);
# _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'none']);
# _gaq.push(['_setAllowLinker', false]);
# _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
# (function() {
# var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
# ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'ssl' : 'www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
# var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
# })();
#</script>
I find it interesting the feds would use google as a tool since they have an assortment of toys at their disposal, but then again I guess not since they are one in the same.
