Gun Control Does NOT Work! Case Closed!

Although the most recent attempt at disarming Americans has been shot down, gun grabbers just don’t seem to get it nor do they give up in their attempt at creating a nation full of victims.

It would seem that the gun grabbers have their blinders up to the facts.

For anyone that is not standing on the graves of the Sandy Hook children or are too obtuse to recognize facts when they see them, it is apparent that gun control and the infringement of Americans being able to own guns is not only reckless but will do nothing more than create more victims.

According to data from the FBI’s uniform crime reports, California had the highest number of gun murders in 2011 with 1,220 — which makes up 68% of all murders in the state that year and equates to 3.25 murders per 100,000 people.

Ironically, California is also known as the state with the most strict gun control laws.

According to city-data.com, Chicago came in first place as the city with the most murders.  Not all murders in Chicago were with a firearm, but it has been proven over and over again that areas that allow citizens to own and carry firearms the murder rate plummets.   Chicago’s murder rate for 2011 was 431, that is 15.9 per 100,000 people.

Consequently, Chicago is also extremely strict with their gun control laws.

Are we seeing a pattern yet?

According to a Pew Research Center analysis of government data, gun homicides have plunged 49% since 1993.  Subsequently, the mid 90′s is when many states started allowing their citizens to conceal and carry handguns.

In fact, since the 1980′s, 60 of the 61 “mass shootings” have happened in gun free zones.  Also, since the 90′s, the amount of “mass shootings” have dropped by nearly half.  All the while, private gun ownership has been skyrocketing.

The gun grabbers like to bring up the Columbine shooting in a feeble attempt to put pro-gunners in their place.

Well, it just so happens that Columbine, a gun free zone, happened during the assault weapon ban.

Again, are we seeing a pattern yet?

The bought and paid for main stream media would of course not want you to know these facts.  They are paid to tell you what this administration wants you to know.

But who really needs those pesky little things called FACTS.

Lets move on to incidences that happened just in the month of June 2013.

June 16 2013, 6 dead and 26 wounded by gunshots in Chicago.

June 1st and 2nd 2013, 25 people shot inside of 48 hours.

June 3 2013, 3 people shot dead in L.A.

June 7 2013, 7 people shot dead in Santa Monica California.

That is only half the month and all occurred in either gun free zones or areas where gun control is very strict.  More proof that gun control will not keep guns out of the hands of criminals.

There is not a single fact available that the lack of a 30 round magazine or implementing stiffer background checks would have stopped a single one of those shootings.

Add all of these facts and incidences to the peer reviewed Harvard study that states, people who are set out to commit murder will do so even without the presence of a firearm, and I think it becomes very clear.

As is aid in the title of this article, case closed! Your gun control argument is irrelevant, reckless and dangerous to the safety of law abiding citizens!
