Anti-Gun Colorado Governor Admits Gun Control Laws Did Nothing to Stop High School Shooting

It seems like there has been a never ending attack on Americans right to bear arms.

Although there has been the ever looming threat of abolishing the second amendment by the Obama administration and his zombie like followers, the anti-gunners have really picked up the pace since the tragedy, in Dec. of 2012, at Sandy Hook elementary school.

No matter how many facts the anti-gunners are presented with and no matter that the numbers prove that gun control is not only unproductive, but in most cases, has the reverse effect, they still believe that disarming the American people will make us all safer.

Well according to the staunch anti-gun Colorado Governor, gun control does NOT work.

Back in March 2013, Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper (D) signed into law the most sweeping anti-gun legislation in the history of the State, despite overwhelming opposition to the legislation.

Despite the very strict anti-gun legislation, on December 13th, a tragic shooting at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, which resulted in the death of an innocent victim and the suicide of the perpetrator.

Media reports indicate that the perpetrator was planning a much larger attack and was armed with a shotgun, about 125 rounds of ammunition, three Molotov cocktails, and a machete.

On Dec. 15th, Gov. Hickenlooper made an appearance on the very bias CBS program, Face The Nation, hosted by Bob Schieffer.  On the show, Hickenlooper was forced to admit that his gun control laws did not make “a difference at all” in the school shooting.

He also stated-

“So things like universal background checks, I think they are going to make us safer, but in this specific case aren’t going to make a difference at all. And that’s the challenge.”

So what kept the madman from shooting multiple people, lighting Molotov cocktails and using his machete on innocent people?  A good guy with a gun!

This is just more proof that the government can not legislate the crazy and evil out of someone.  Gun control laws only restrict the good guys with guns, not the bad ones.
