I once saw an old newspaper clipping from Israel. It was printed around 1833 and written in English. Israel had been sold to the Rhothschild family.
Smarter minds than me, might be able to do the research and find the article. It does exist. When the article was written and the newspaper was published, the article was written in favor of the transaction.
I found the article interesting because I never realized that someone or someone’s could… and had… actually purchased Israel. I was raised to believe that Israel belonged to God in Heaven.
