Rhode Island Making A Strong Stand For The 2nd Amendment, Tenth Town Adopts 2nd Amendment Resolution!

The Town of West Warwick, Rhode Island became the states 10th Town to adopt a resolution that sends a message to the state that they have had enough on the Governor’s vicous attack attempts on our 2nd Amendment rights. 

West Warwick Town Council passed the resolution in a 5-0 vote after modifications to the resolution were made. The town passed the resolution but struck out the language of being labeled a “santuary”.  All five Council Members voiced their support for 2nd Amendment rights.

West Warwick, RI Town Council:  Council President David Gosselin Jr, Council Vice-President John Amico, Councilman Jason Messier, Councilman Jason Licciardi, Councilwoman MariBeth Williamson.

Dozens of West Warwick residents and members of We The People of R.I. for 2nd Amendment Sanctuary filled the town hall inside, the hall way and outside to show support for this resolution.  Only four members of Moms Demand Action RI attended to show opposition to the resolution.

Like usual, there was total media blackout from Rhode Island’s mainstream media.  The only media that attended was myself and Steve Ahlquist of Uprise Rhode Island who also reported on this event with an Article & Video.  In his credit, he has been the only other news source to show up at these events while the rest of Rhode Island media continues to ignore and avoid a massive uprise to protect our civil liberties. The only other Rhode Island media that reported on this was RI News Today in their article #10 – West Warwick Adopts 2nd Amendment Resolution.
The only national media that is covering our movement is John Peterson from Firearms News in his last article SPECIAL REPORT: BIG 2A HISTORY BEING MADE IN LITTLE RHODE ISLAND.  
It’s amazing that you don’t even see big Alternative Media like Infowars or Drudge Report like I wish they would, covering something of this magnitude. 

Many more Rhode Island towns are in the works for adopting this 2nd Amendment resolution that sends a message to the state that they will not fund any unfunded mandates, they have had enough of not being represented by the state and they afirm their oaths to stand for in support of the 2nd Amendment against any gun control legislation if passed that is rulled Unconstitutional by the U.S. Superior Court.

The enclosed map of Rhode Island is highlighted to show the current towns who have adopted this resolution. Woonsocket, Smithfield, Warwick, Lincoln and Westerly are currently in the works.

The massive support for the 2nd Amendment continues to grow by leaps and bounds consisting of tens of thousands with an average of 3,500-4,000 storming the State House in yellow shirts every year to oppose gun control vs 100+ if that of the opposing gun control groups. 
Rhode Island 2nd Amendment supporters and groups consists of people from all political parties and affialiations such as Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Independents. Where everyone can put aside their political differences and stand for a common ground called our 2nd Amendment and the Bill of Rights.
