EXPOSED: How a Minnesota real estate broker left her family to carry out an affair with a notorious Qanon conspiracy theorist

Randi Erickson is a mother, grandmother, wife and real estate broker hailing from the Minneapolis, Minnesota suburb, Elk River. By all accounts she was a normal doting Midwestern wife that loved and cared for her large family. She posted pictures of her smiling with them on social media, hunting or fishing with the grandchildren and going to vacation to sunny Florida with them. So how did this doting grandmother go from having a picturesque middle class lifestyle to leaving her longtime husband and family behind to carry out an affair with a notorious Qanon conspiracy theorist? It seems her life began to unravel when she became obsessed with conspiracy theories a few years after Donald Trump’s election. 

Erickson became convinced that CPS (child protective services) acorss the country were illegally removing children from their parents and then trafficking them to Democratic politicians, celebrities and other high powered people in society. She also started following the debunked Qanon conspiracy theory alleging that Democratic operatives were running a global child sex ring. 

She changed her name of Facebook to “Randi Q Erickson” and changed her profile picture to Donald Trump’s face  inside the letter “Q.” Erickson began promoting sovereign citizen conspiracy theorists such as David Straight, Kirk Pendergrass and Chris Hallett. Three men that claimed they were “legal experts” despite not having any legal training. They would routinely advise people that were fighting CPS cases to abduct their children and hide with their children. 

In 2019 Erickson became aware of a conspiracy theorist named Timothy Holmseth from East Grand Forks, MN. He had a rising star in the Qanon conspiracy theory circles online. He had self published books on high-profile missing and murdered children cases such as Haleigh Cummings and Caylee Anthony, falsely claiming that the two little girls were trafficked into a child sex ring. 

During his coverage of the Haleigh Cummings, he started harassing a respected South Florida attorney named Kim Picazio. Picazio represented the mother of Haleigh Cummings in a custody battle against Haleigh’s abusive and drug using father Ronald Cummings. Holmseth falsely accused Picazio of abducting Haleigh, he incited his followers to threaten and harass her as well. She obtained a restraining order against him and he violated it multiple times. 

In late 2019, Holmseth was scheduled to go on trial in Polk County, Minnesota for violating that restraining order. Erickson decided she would come to Holmseth’s aid. She dispatched Kirk Pendergrass to go in court to represent Holmseth in pretrial hearings. Since Pendergrass is not a lawyer, nothing he argued was relevant to the judge. When it came time for Holmseth to go on trial, instead of facing justice, he skipped town and failed to show up. He moved into the home of Randi Erickson and her longtime husband Brian in rural Anoka County, Minnesota. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest. Erickson and her husband were knowingly harboring a fugitive. 

When Covid19 started sweeping the nation, many jails, including Anoka County, quit taking in people with outstanding misdemeanor warrants and were only focusing on felonies in order to slow the spread of the virus. When Anoka County started arresting those with outstanding warrants, both Holmseth and Erickson took off and their whereabouts are currently unknown. 

When police went to the Erickson residence to detain Holmseth on his outstanding warrant, Randi’s husband told law enforcement that he has not seen his wife since September 2020 and that the two are estranged. She left him to go on the run with Timothy Holmseth. Randi Erickson began an adulterous affair with Holmseth while she was harboring him from law enforcement at her residence. 

Currently, the adulterous couple is hiding out from the law. Holmseth has two warrants in the states of Minnesota and Florida and Randi Erickson is hiding from lawsuits. Multiple people, including Marine Veteran Craig Sawyer that have been harassed and defamed by Holmseth and Erickson are trying to have her served so that they can sue her. 

Holmseth and Erickson are currently running a scam, where they claim they are working for Donald Trump and the “Pentagon Pedophile Task Force.” 

Randi Erickson serves as a prime example of the brain rot many Baby boomers obtain when they consume their news from Facebook posts and drown themselves in debunked and unverified conspiracy theories. She has thrown her marriage away as well as her relationships with her children and grandchildren… all to pursue an affair with a wanted fugitive obsessed with little children being abused.
