“An association fallacy is an informal inductive fallacy of the hasty-generalization or red-herring type and which asserts, by irrelevant association and often by appeal to emotion, that qualities of one thing are inherently qualities of another. Two types of association fallacies are sometimes referred to as guilt by association and honor by association.”
Thus by some weird fantasmagorical sense of moral authority, indicting Tulsi Gabbard of being WEF by mere association at some post-date even though she is totally opposed at the very least at present to everything it stands for, seems acceptable.
Even to those of high intellectual exuberance as displayed by Jeff Rense who openly states that even if Tulsi Gabbard has a heart of gold,  which he strongly suggests he believes she has, by some vapid  past association with the WEF she must be WEF, a sort of sleeper cell; thus showing that high IQ is not necessarily real intelligence ,just as for example high calorific intake is not necessarily a measure of energy output, but just the opposite in the latter case and  just stupid in the former.
