I’m with you in wanting to like Trump but wondering if he really is as as dumb and ignorant as he acts.
I think he loves this country and he’s quite a smart person as shown by his business success. So one explanation for his strange attitude would be that he has such a massively inflated ego that he can’t bring himself to consider, even for a moment, that he was played like a violin and so proudly and earnestly brags about being successfully involved in an operation which, in reality, was genocidal.
