Pennsylvania Governor Unveils Career Coach

HARRISBURG, PA (10/02/12) — Today, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett announced the release of Pennsylvania Career Coach, a free online career tool that was developed by EMSI and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry. According to Governor Corbett, the statewide tool will “help Pennsylvanians make lasting career choices.”

Community College of Philadelphia President Stephen M. Curtis added: “Career Coach takes job hunting to the next level…It connects high school graduates and displaced workers to available jobs and to the colleges and universities that offer degree programs.”

Career Coach is part of a comprehensive job-matching initiative that will be launched later in 2012. “My number one priority as governor is jobs,” said Corbett. “My administration is here to help and PA Career Coach is a step in the right direction.”
