Message From Emsi CEO: Emsi Joins Strada Education Network

A message from Andrew Crapuchettes, Emsi’s CEO, about the recent Strada acquisition. Here is a link to the official press release.

Today I’m pleased to announce that Emsi has joined the Strada Education Network℠ (Strada), a national nonprofit focused on improving the pathway between education and employment. Strada, formerly USA Funds, acquired Emsi from CareerBuilder.

Strada’s motto is “Completion With a Purpose”®. As a result, the organization focuses on improving the way students and jobseekers use their education to improve their working lives. To scale and accelerate its mission, the Indianapolis-based nonprofit supports strategic philanthropy, research and insights, innovation investments, and best-in-class solutions delivered through its affiliates, which now includes Emsi.

Strada’s mission aligns perfectly with our core mission: connecting people, education, and employers. We’re very excited to join Strada so we can use our data and insight to help more students complete their education with purpose. As a combined force, I think we’re really going to move the needle in higher education and help close the skills gap in America.

We will continue to operate as an independent entity out of Moscow, Idaho, while collaborating on and pursuing synergies that exist across Strada’s network.

CareerBuilder has been an exceptional partner and owner of Emsi for the last five years, and Emsi will continue to work closely with CareerBuilder after the transition. Emsi will still bring its products to market through the CareerBuilder sales team and will also keep working with the data science team.

CareerBuilder has helped us grow, solve bigger problems, and bring new data to the market. We’re very grateful for that. CareerBuilder has also always had a mission to solve the skills gap. With Strada, we are eager to up the ante on this.
