Ben Shapiro Triggers Ohio State Moonbats

Ben Shapiro is moderate in his views, but expresses them eloquently and is sharp-witted enough to flay any moonbat in debate. Consequently, it is intolerable to progressives that he is allowed to speak on college campuses. Yesterday, he spoke at Ohio State. Moonbats behaved as you would expect:

Leftist protesters who gathered outside the doors to the venue led chants of “Reagan’s dead” and “John McCain’s dead” while Shapiro attempted to deliver his remarks.

Beyond being dead, it is unclear what John McCain has to do with this. With all due respect, he was a RINO infamous for insulting his constituents and pandering to the liberal media. He made ObamaCare permanent and arguably cost the GOP the House with his backstabbing and petulance. Liberals will miss him far more than conservatives will.

The mob also started to chant “Bush Senior’s dead,” but evidently cut short that line of gloating when someone tipped them off that he is still alive.

Another persuasive chant was “F*** Ben Shapiro.” Mind your ears:

The black fist on the red banner signifies communism, Black Lives Matter, and/or smashing freedom and dignity in general.

Now for some comic relief:

The Morrill Scholars Program Student Advisory Council, which operates within the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, sent an email to students encouraging them to “seek a safe environment” for themselves if they don’t “feel comfortable around a climate that will be created by Ben Shapiro’s presence.”

The email, ironically, warned of the “hostile environment that can result from these kind of events” while failing to acknowledge that the hostility would be created exclusively by students protesting the event.

The Morrill Scholars Program offered a “safe space” to students who preferred not to be alone and found themselves somehow unable to ignore a single lecture attended by several hundred people on a large campus with an undergraduate enrollment of nearly 46,000 students.

It was unclear whether pacifiers were provided or students were expected to bring their own.
