Socialist & Senile? Bernie’s Response to Hillary’s Call for Incivility: Trump is a Liar

As you’ll remember, Hillary Clinton recently endorsed incivility on the part of Democrats. And, as you’ll remember, she not long ago said there was a “very significant difference” between Bill’s sexual misconduct and Trump’s (Bill’s being better — see here). And, as you’ll remember, in July, she said the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh could take America back to the days of slavery (here). Because, as you’ll remember, Hillary Clinton is really, nuttily ridiculous.

Speaking of nuts, self-professed (yet, not self-following) socialist millionaire Sen. Bernie Sanders was asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper if he agreed with Hillary’s call for being a turd. I mean, being uncivil. Bernie’s response? Donald Trump is a freakin’ liar!

On State of the Union, Jake played the clip of Hillary’s civility-opposing madness (shown below), during which she laid this egg:

“That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”

Tapper also tapped into this quote by former Obama attorney general Eric Holder:

“When they go low, we kick them.”

Next, Jake played a clip of Michelle O. (whose famed “‘When they go low, we go high” remark Holder was parodying), condemning Eric’s and Hillary’s goofiness.

Then the question was posed to the candidate from whom Hillary Clinton stole the nomination:

“Joining me now is independent Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, who caucuses with the Democrats. Senator, you just heard those comments from Holder, Clinton, and Michelle Obama. What do you think? Do you think Democrats have been too weak responding to Republicans in the past or do you subscribe to Michelle Obama’s mantra, ‘when they go low, we go high?’”

Bernie burned down the momentum, by starting an entirely different thread. You know, like when you’re in a forum about concrete landscaping curbing, and someone contributes some irrelevant information about fertilizer? Well, Bernie eschewed the talk of curbed behavior in favor of crap:

“I don’t think it’s a question of going high or going low. I think it’s a question of telling the truth. And the truth is that you have a president who lies all of the time, a pathological liar. I don’t think that’s what the American people want.”

Does America want the government to own all products and means of production, otherwise known as socialism?

Sanders continued:

“You have a Republican leadership in the House and the Senate that tried, came within one vote of throwing 32 million people off of the health insurance they currently have. You have leadership there in the House and the Senate that wants to do away with pre-existing protections that people have in this country so they can get health insurance when you have cancer or heart disease. … So I think what we have to do is be aggressive in telling the truth, that you have a Republican leadership that’s working overtime to benefit the wealthy and the powerful while ignoring the needs of working families.”

He also could’ve added, “You have left-wing leadership in the Senate where a self-proclaimed socialist made over a million dollars in 2017 (here).

You’d think politicians replacing actual answers to questions with unrelated talking point would’ve gone out with bell-bottoms. But some fashions just won’t die. Bernie’s keeping it retro. Either way, despite the Vermont politician’s failure to condemn idiocy and his preference for attacking the President, Trump’s still at the helm and keeping a pretty respectable conservative track record. And all the talk of incivility is likely to give Republicans a nice November boost. Because, since 2016, the most notable style making a comeback is the one of sound government policy.

Because, as you’ll remember, Hillary lost.
