The Vatican’s Youth Synod and the Millstone - End of Days?

But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Matthew 18:6

Currently, the world is looking at what appears to be the Catholic Church destroy and lead the youth astray in striking fashion. The words “Catholic Church” has, over the last few decades,  become synonymous with paedophilia and sexual abuse and is at times the subject of jokes on television because of this. Regarding the sex abuse scandal Francis said, “We showed no care for the little ones; we abandoned them.” This statement is very revealing and timely, considering that ex-Vatican official Carlo Vigano afterwards publicly accused Francis of concealing Theodore McCarrick’s sexual abuse.

Vigano’s accusations is not the first of its kind to be levied against Francis. According to Juan Pablo Gallego, Francis was suspected of “protecting rapists and molesters for years.” He had actually tried to get a convicted pederast’s sentence overturned.

Francis’ assault on the youth is twofold. Firstly, he covered up for sexual predators and secondly, he wants to use this Youth Synod to attempt to legitimize the LGBT agenda. Before this Youth Synod commenced, Francis released a document named Episcopalis Communio. Raymond Arroyo of EWTN explained that: “It appears that under this new document [Episcopalis Communio] it gives whatever the Synod decides – their final document – magisterial authority.” If Francis were a valid Pope, this means that whatever the Synod would produce is absolutely infallible Catholic teaching which must be believed by all Catholics under pain of automatic excommunication.

Certain commentators who follow the happenings of the Vatican are expressing concern that the Synod is going to produce liberalism. Christine Niles of Church Militant articulated the sad reality that “…the heart of the agenda is normalization of homosexuality…they’re hoping to get their way in the Youth Synod. They’re hoping to use the youth to revolutionize and radicalize Church language on sexuality.”

As you watch the events that are unfolding in the Vatican, ask yourself: Is it a coincidence that Vigano’s sex abuse accusations came to the forefront right before this Youth Synod?

Personally, I do not believe that to be case. My opinion is that these two things are truly signs of the end of the world. When political commentator Ben Shapiro was discussing the Vigano accusations on Fox News with anchorwoman Martha MacCallum, shockingly, he repeatedly used the phrase “end of the world” an astounding three times in a matter of seconds. I am convinced that this was one of God’s ways of letting the world know where we are in human history. MacCallum even referenced Matthew 18:6.

It seems that Matthew 18:6 coincides with Revelation 18:21 which states: “And a mighty angel took up a stone, as it were a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying: With such violence as this shall Babylon, that great city, be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.” This particular verse of Scripture is often interpreted as the physical destruction of Rome. It also seems very probable that Revelation 18:21 is the fulfillment of St. Malachy’s prophecy of Popes and Antipopes. Regarding Francis (who is referred to by the Latin phrase Petrus Romanus) St. Malachy’s prophecy reads: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.” Francis is the last person on St. Malachy’s list. That’s how far along we are before the end of the world.

Considering the Biblical evidence as well as the St. Malachy’s prophecy, it is reasonable to believe that Rome’s physical destruction will be provoked by Francis deceiving the world into believing that he is the Pope, when he is not, and attempting to exercise Papal authority in the Youth Synod to make homosexuality part of infallible, magisterial Catholic teaching. This event of Rome being destroyed sometime after this Synod takes place would clearly parallel the grave punishment that God meted out to Sodom and Gomorrah for their acts of homosexuality and other sins of the flesh.

Although according to traditional Catholic teaching, Francis cannot be a Pope, and thus has no authority in the eyes of the legitimate Church, the mainstream media and public sphere think he is the Pope. This Youth Synod and its fruit will undoubtedly wonder and confusion among non-Catholics and those who think they are Catholic.

It is imperative that people not only recognize with the right perspective what is happening in the world today, but that they take the appropriate steps going forward in their own lives. We simply do not have a very long time left in the world as we know it. It is absolutely necessary for eternal salvation to convert to the true traditional Catholic Faith and then live out this Faith by a holy, exemplary life.
