While watching nature programs on the National Geographic channels or Animal Planet and the BBC’s Planet Earth series, one has to see that in the animal kingdom mating and eating are the sine qua non(s) of existence, the essence of survival.
The mating rituals are divinely inspired, a matter of procreation and eating, the primitive need (instinct?) to sustain biology and energy.
Those survival paradigms, procreation (mating) and eating, are intrinsic to Earth, part of the evolutionary sequence since the beginning of life here.
But would an extraterrestrial (alien) species from another planet in the galaxy or cosmos be subject to the same paradigm(s)?
That is, do ETs (aliens) have to seek out mates, using coy and manipulative behaviors to seduce them?
Do ETs have t forage for food or is food abundant like it was for the Eloi in Well’s Time Machine novel?
Is survival a requisite for life elsewhere in the Universe? Maybe not.
So, if ETs are visiting here, as some UFO folks believe, what are they after? Not Zecharia Sitchen’s gold-needs of the so-called Anunnakithat he and Ancient Alien theorists tell us. Gold would be abundant on many other worlds (planets, asteroids, moons), closer to them, probably, than Earth is.
And I doubt they are looking for mates, despite the stupid idea that ETs are trying to mate with Earthlings to create a hybrid species. No advanced beings would want to mate with beings hideous, to them, just as in Earth’s animal kingdom species seek like-kinds for sexual pleasure and procreation.
As for food, would ET’s want McDonald cheeseburgers or Pizza Hut pizzas? Or fish from the seas? Or bird life? Or cows roaming a pasture? Unlikely.
To them there would not be a need or a desire for Earth foodstuffs, if ETs are as advanced as they’d have to be to get here. (Or they are perverse, which could be the case, as Rosale’s humanoid accounts indicate.)
My point, if I have one, is that UFO ETs would be unique, not similar to Earthlings, because they’d evolve differently (if evolution was probable on their planet, which is unlikely) and reports that their craft and behavior seem similar to human beings’ is a projection of ours, an anthropomorphism that is idiotic.
There are so many caveats about ET visitations that to keep pushing that scenario is a kind of madness, that skeptics, like Zoam Chomsky and Lance Moody, find ubiquitous in the UFO community.
But then, what are UFOs, which do exist, despite Zoam’s insistence that they don’t.
That’s the question to conjure with.
