Those mad, mad Ancient Alien theorists

The Friday night History Channel’s Ancient Alienprogram rehashed the Roswell incident and showed just how “insane” the thinking is for those who participate in the utter nonsense.

First off, the program hyped the idea that flying saucers were crashing all over the place, and later in the show the purpose of the crashes were to provide advanced technology for humans.

The crashed saucers and their alien occupants, also dying to advance human technical knowledge apparently, were shipped, not to just one military facility, but sent to Wright Patterson Airbase, Washington D.C., and Area 51, among other places.

And the United States and Russia engaged in secret collusion when it came to UFOs, but the U.S. still spied on Russia, as the U-2 incident showed.

Lt. Colonel Philip Corso’s The Day After Roswell is thoroughly authentic and crop circles were used by the Soviets at their top secret rocket facility to attract extraterrestrials.

I only caught the show because it followed William Shatner’s new Unxplained series and I couldn’t find my Roku remote to shut it off.

It was not their best effort, that is for sure. Very lame, and insulting to the people who actually came up
with those technologies for real. I think for instance they were happy to credit aliens with the invention of
Kevlar, when in fact one woman scientist really worked her butt off and invented it (She died just last week
I think).. There are so many scientists who worked to create things like microchips, lasers, and so many
other technologies, but the History Channel and the late Phillip Corso, are very eager to give the aliens
credit for the hard work of the real inventors. It is quite shameful, and an insult to the ones that took
years of work to really create them. I will have to agree with you, that it is a very inadequate show they
had tonight.

I enjoyed William Shatner’s new show, even though most of it was dealing with cases that have been
around for a long time.. They threw in a few new things though, so it was interesting to watch. I liked
the format of the show, how he narrates it etc. I hope it goes over well and is successful for him.
