Congress Needs to Make All Lobbying Illegal and All Pork-barrel Projects Illegal

If Congress wants to save a lot of money, outlaw all lobbying and all lobbyists. That action will do the following:
- Eliminate all crooked people involved in lobbying, and they are all crooked by definition. Force all lobbyists to get real jobs.
- Eliminate all bribing of politicians. If there are no money offers, no bribery can take place.
- Politicians would have more time to do meaningful work instead of meeting with lobbyists in their offices and dining out with them, which wastes a lot of their time.
- Minimize much of the special interest groups bothering Congress.
- Keep Congressmen honest and not tempted to violate laws simply because of money being passed under the table.
- Minimize politicians from being beholden to lobbyists who contribute dollars to their campaigns.
Another thing to do is to eliminate all pork-barrel projects and make them illegal. Projects that are truly pork-barrel projects are obvious to the American people, the media, and the opposition party in Congress. All new projects must be vetted by these three entities. If no consensus can be achieved by these three entities on a new project, then the project will automatically be considered as a pork-barrel project. No lobbyists means no project will be pushed on politicians by these unwanted leeches.
By implementing these two proposals, our country would save a lot of money and the polls on Congress would improve dramatically. Additionally, a lot of the shenanigans that currently go on in Congress would be diminished. Let’s do it now!

The entire federal government needs to be restructured. For example, it should be made illegal for the three branches of government (executive, legislative, and judicial branches) to collude together in fundamentally transforming the United States into a Marxist-socialist state. They suppose to be exercising a “checks and balance” on each other instead of working together to pull shenanigans on the American people. They should have a friendly adversarial relationship to keep each other honest, not to be in bed with each other committing all kinds of corruption and crime. That’s not the way our founding fathers set up that tri-structure. Our entire governmental structure is dysfunctional. It’s time for a change.
Furthermore, the press/media should be a watchdog over these three branches of government to protect “We the People,” not to work in collusion with one of the major parties in power to implement undesirable, fundamental changes. The press/media are derelict in their duties. That’s why they are called the lame-stream media instead of the mainstream media. Right now, we need more “freedom from the press” than we need “freedom of the press.”
