John, don’t feel bad that Harvard or Yale haven’t asked you to give a talk. They are probably terrified you might mention that their endowments came from the slave shipping fortunes. Most Ivy League schools owe their beginnings to the slave trade. Some of us Yanks who feel awed by their righteousness and preening like to remember that wee bit of their history.

I sincerely hope I get to see this film. Too often, films available all over the Northern Hemisphere are not available for viewing in the Southern. I hope Pilger ensures his countrymen outside Sydney and Melbourne are able to see this.
