This is proof the public school system has been changing our history to better serve our corporate government. The civil war had NOTHING to do with racism or freedom for the slaves. During Lincoln’s presidential campaign he ran on a pro slavery platform, in reply to the slavery issue he had this to say; ” I have no inclination to abolish slavery, nor do I believe that as president I would have the right to do so”. The Emancipation Proclamation was brought into being as a answer to the low number of active soldiers, the union was in a terrible state and did not have enough soldiers to win their campaign. What brought about the civil war was a combination of monetary policies and the institution of a centrally based federal government that took away the governing control of the states.
I am not white, I am from Kentucky and I also fly a Confederate flag. I dare anybody to ask me to take mine down, only a ignorant or a Yankee would ask anyway.
