That’s an expensive cartridge to shoot! I’d much rather .223 for a SHTF general weapon. Not only is the ammo in greater supply (even after the SHTF), but it’s far cheaper to stock up on in the meantime. If the federal and state governments ended the war on drugs, the death rate from guns would drop significantly. If the federal government didn’t rig the economy in favor of big corporations, then there wouldn’t be so much poverty, and poverty is a major source of crime, including gun crime.
