A letter from a Peaceful activist to the Junta military Coup in Thailand.

Dear Dictatorial Leader,

In the day of Coup, most people around the world were all surprised that you used peace talks as a trapping for seizing the power from the former PM Yingluck; however, we still truly believed from the bottom of our heart that you did this old-fashioned Coup because you sincerely want to solve the dead-end turmoil causing by both side, red and yellow shirt. We have a hope that the 10 year political problem is supposed to end soon. Today is about one week after your shameful Coup, we are do really apologize to tell you that we already changed our minds. There are many evidences showing your real intention of this seizing power. We believed that you want to eliminate only one side that is PRO-DEMOCRATIC. You are Mr. Suthep with troops in the hand. Your NCPO mission is same as PDRC’s goal that is “REFORM BEFORE ELECTION”. This is not happened by chance. You both are on the same side from the beginning. Although you pretended to arrest few PDRC’s leaders, we did not believe you that you are middleman. You did not treat both people the same. From your view, one is your enemy, while other is your companion. If you think we were wrong please answer this below examples;

• Most of people in your summoned list are red shirt leaders, Pheuthai politicians, pro-democratic activists and academics. How’s about people who is major determinant of this crisis, Democrat politicians, Senators, PDRC leaders, conservative academics. Where are they? How did you treat them?
• Why don’t you begin the investigation about hardcore PDRC protestors who destroyed the police car like you did so fast with anti-Coup protestors who sprayed your precious army car.
• It is good thing that you were able to cease Khonkaen violent model. Why don’t you try hard like this to investigate in “Popcorn Army” case. Many people really want to know who they are.
• Commander filed the police complaint about injured soldiers after crashing with protester at Victory Monument on Wednesday. It is a very good thing to fight and protect for your man. Could you please follow the same direction with your man who moved traffic cone and got attacked by Bhuddha Isla’s army at Chaengwattana Road. Do you dare to do it?

In addition, the current situation in our country is like North Korea. Someone called that it is REAL BANGKOK SHUTDOWN. Ton of military closed all the Bangkok hot-spot, without any protestors. People here do not really have a freedom. You asked us to have a normal life. You told us your mission is to bring back happiness to the nation. How would that been happened? You ruled the country with fear and propaganda. You censored every TV programs on local medias and also some foreign programs, like CNN, BBC. You ordered TV reporters not to broadcast anti-protesting activities. You tried to block the social media Facebook, just only to silence the anti-coup protesting. You allowed people gathering for blessing you, but not against you. You seized many people who showed “Anti Coup” banner.  You held Belgian tourist at Victory Monument, because he just only showed the tee having word “PEACE PLEASE”. You arrested old woman who wearing mask having a word “PEOPLE”. We would like to ask you whether the word “PEACE” or “PEOPLE” is illegal or prohibited. If we do not have a right to express what we believed, how can we back to normal life. The people who fighting on the street, they have only paper and belief as a weapon, while your side has both gun and power. They realized that it is so risky and difficult to fight against you under this stupid martial law; however, they still did it because they want to let you know that they are not surrendered to your dictatorial power. We would like to warn you if you are continue ruling the country like this, the resistance will be stronger day by day, and your time will be shortened as well. The best way for you and this country is to return the power back to people as soon as possible and let us make decision of this country by ourselves through the election. Please do it now.
