                                               Nuclear Warfare

A nuclear explosion high above the ground creates an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that fries all of the microelectronics in all of our computers, electrical equipment, and everything else that has microelectronics in them.  Airplanes will stop operating in the air and will come crashing down.  Automobiles will be inoperable.  All household electronics and appliances will be inoperable.  The electric grid will go down.  Nobody will have running electricity.  Blackouts will be nationwide.  All factories and businesses will come to a standstill.  Water sewage and purification plants will stop operating.  Dams will overflow.

Everything will be dark and quiet at night because nobody will be able to move around and socialize.  We, basically, will return to the colonial days and will be able to use flashlights until the batteries wear out.  We will use candles for light at night.  We will walk to wherever we need to go.  Horses, cows, mules, and other animal conveyances will provide our transportation.  All store goods will sell out rapidly, and stores will be empty within three days.  People will act like savages and will pillage and plunder the weaker peoples of society.

                                         EMP Warfare

Chaos will prevail.  City governments will provide no police, fire, or medical services.  Those with firearms will be blowing away those who come to rob them.  People will return to hunting, fishing, raising animals, and farming/gardening.  People will barter for goods and services.  Gold and silver will be of little worth.  Food and water will be valuable, and we will use them as the medium for bartering.

We call exploding a nuclear bomb high into the rarified atmosphere EMP warfare.  That is what is in store for us if we do not die by a ground blast thermonuclear war, a terrorist worldwide war, and major terrorist-induced pandemics (worldwide biological warfare) and poisonous gas warfare.  The other two weapons in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosives (CBRNE) warfare is the use of “dirty bombs” or radiological dispersal devices (RDDs) and high-yield explosives.  Another form of warfare we must be concerned with is cyber warfare, which will bring down the Internet, all computer systems, and all information technology (IT) systems.  Hence, cyber warfare is somewhat less dangerous than EMP warfare.

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                                                     

                     

                                       

                                         Cyber Warfare

Whatever you fancy, these choices of warfare are those that we must deal with for the remainder of the 21st century.  Do not suffer from the ostrich syndrome by burying your head deep in the sand.  Instead, get educated about these various types of warfare so you will be better prepared than most others to deal with them.  Other than that, all I can say is good luck.
