In the 1960’s U.S. military leaders composed plans to commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities and kill innocent people in order to gain support for a war against Cuba.
This project was code named Operation Northwoods. These plans entailed the assassination of Cuban immigrants, hijacking planes, sinking boats of Cuban refugees, blowing up U.S. ships, and even orchestrating violent terrorism.
These plans were all a part of a conspiracy to trick the American public into engaging in war with communist leader Fidel Castro.
They even went as far as contemplating causing U.S. military deaths, stating: “We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba,” and, “casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation.”

I couldn’t agree more. I find that many people will believe anything they read on the internet.
They fully believe if they find it on the net….it must be true.
People don’t seem to realize that that is simply not the case, especially in the days of propaganda to promote name brands/sales, those who are out to push political agendas, those who are out to start or end religious ideologies and those who would ruin them, gossip mongers, multiple people with the same name, ID theft, and those who change their own name for legal or protective reasons.
You may read all you like on any subject…..but just because it is in black and white….doesn’t make it the truth or that is actually related to the subject you are interested in …….even if it looks official. Everything can be corrupted these days……and often is.
