Media LIES EXPOSED About Trump's comments about "Database"

“I’m tired of Hillary Clinton being given a pass for wanting to MURDER
Muslims around the world — which means also to murder lots of CHRISTIANS
and all the others “in the way” of Washington’s world-wide Empire
ambitions — all over the world in subversion and wars she wants to
accelerate..” (versus Trump’s “wait and see”) while media salivates at Trump’s often vague tough talk and jumping to “racist!” before bothering to ask for specifics of who he is talking about. I thought the media loved to corner candidates. This would have been perfect way to “corner” Trump and ask specifics…media didn’t bother even trying to do that in this exchange!

What Trump actually said versus how it’s reported in the
media. Transcript below, complete line by line as best as I was able to hear it, replaying several times.

Over and over again Trump’s words (see below) sound like he’s talking
about tracking and registering IMMIGRANTS (particularly from war-torn
predominantly Muslim parts of the world as well as from Mexican border) rather than “all Muslims”who have lived in the U.S. for generations, or at least it sounds like
that’s what he may be talking about – easy way to try to find out is
to ask — the reported never asks.

Disclaimer: I do not agree with Trump’s immigration rhetoric or (to
the extent it exists as more specific than rhetoric) his policies
either. Fault Trump for the vagueness. And does some of Trumps rhetoric here and in the past play
into  hysteria, racism and xenophobia? It does, and I completely oppose that.

But the media doesn’t ASK for clarifications on this critical point -
it salivates at screaming “racist” while coddling those who want to
MURDER Muslims (and plenty of Christians) by instigating Wars for
Empire.

Does the reporter use any one of several opportunities to ask Trump:
“Are you talking about forcing say a Muslim who has lived in the
U.S. them and their families living here for generations, would they
be forced to register, or are you talking about immigrants from
(mostly Muslim) war-torn areas, refugees, those claiming asylum, from
jihadist- and terrorist dominated areas?

NO THE REPORTER IS NOT INTERESTED IN GETTING CLARIFICATION ON ANY OF
THESE SPECIFICS, DOESN’T ASK IT.

accelerate (while Trump, while not as anti-war as sanity would demand,
at least is rightly highly skeptical* of that)

Instead the media is giving her (and often also to war-mongering
Republicans..which is most of the rest of them) a PASS.. when Hillary
Clinton is far more war-monger (she is pro so-called “no fly zone”
meaning, “pro Libya style violent overthrow of government, I mean
“regime” that Washington doesn’t like, by arming jihadists) than Trump
who has taken a “wait and see” about Russia’s anti-terrorist legal (at
invitation of Syrian government, unlike Washington’s) involvement in
Syria, and who is skeptical about such “no fly zone” type
war-mongering.

But read the transcript which I prepared below from listening to the
1:05 minute segment and replaying until I got the best accuracy my
ears could manage:

1. Is it clear whether Trump is talking about all Muslims even those who
have lived for generations in the U.S. or about those coming in as war
refugees?

No, it’s not.

2. Is it clear whether the database tracking Trump is talking about is
different at all from what’s already being done or planned to track
waves of immigrants from wars of external aggression and
jihadist-funding that Washington is CREATING or allowing it’s allies
like Turkey and like the brutal Saudi dictatorship to around the
world, particularly in Syria?

No, it’s not clear.

Fact A: Trump doesn’t want you to think that such tracking isn’t that different
from existing practice and existing plans, because he wants to look “tougher”

Fact B: Trump’s liberal opponents also don’t want you to see a difference. They want to you to think that tracking immigrants from jihadist/terrorist areas the same as Trump saying “put Muslims in internment camps like we did to Japanese in WWII” or something, they want to cry “racist” before fleshing out any real differences (aside from rhetoric, where Trump’s is indeed, a sometimes terrible rhetoric that feeds into those Americans who have hateful views)

DT: There should be a lot of systems, beyond databases, we should have
a lot of systems. And today you can do it, but right now we need to
have a border, we have to have strength, we have to have a wall, and
we cannot let what’s happening to this country happen any more.

[Is Trump talking about immigrants needing to register? Sure sounds like it]

Q: But is that something that your White House might consider:

DT: Oh I would certainly implement that. Absolutely.

Q: What do you think the effect of that would be, how would that work?

DT: It would stop people from coming in illegally. We have to stop
people from coming into our country illegally

[Here it's clearly about immigrants coming in being "Registered"]

Q: If they are Muslim specifically how do you actually get them
registered into a database?

DT: It would just be good management. What you have to do it good
management procedures. And we can do that.

Q: Do you go..to mosques to sign these people up, into the system-

DT: Different places. You sign them up at different places. But it’s
all about  management. Our country has no management.

Q: Would they have to be legally in this database?

DT: They have to be le- They have to be — let me just tell you that –
the KEY is that people can come to the country, but they have to come

[Again, it's about immigration for Trump. Faulting Trump for vagueness
and not being clear cut about immigrants versus Muslims living in the
U.S. for generations, and thus his playing into things bigots will
like.. But again the media turns it into, “Trump was asked if we
should register all Muslim Americans and he loved the idea, absolutely
for it!” which is a gross distortion of the word for word transcript
above. Why not ask the obvious question directly, “does this apply to immigrants from war-torn areas or to Muslim Americans who have have lived here for generations..? (or other in between categories that can be in follow up questions, of course it’s not just one extreme or the other)

so-called “no fly zone”:  Bush, Carson, Christie, Clinton, Fiorina,
Graham, Kasich, Rubio (Against: O’Malley, Paul, Sanders. Trump is
listed as in neither camp, and remkars in interviews seen online
suggest rightly skeptical)

If you’re extremely confused and think I support Trump’s policies like the “wall” you need to re-read the entire post having missed the whole point. Media coddle up to mass-murder of Muslims (and mass-murder of Christians) in wars-for-Empire, while meida help keep policy differences vague, or fake, by not asking questions, so long as they can sensationalize “racist!” first, and then ask questions about who it applies to or other specifics, later (or never ask at all). Not here to defend the candidate who makes themsleves open to this media distortion, here to defend helpless civialians being mass murdered with help of media lies

(and as aside, to defend both U.S. workers and Mexican workers, you oppose NAFTA type neoliberalism; neither “everythign is fine” liberalism nor “build a wall” Trump rhetoric nor the hybrids rhetoric of Republicans, would at all solve things for working people trying to support their familieis and themselves on any side of any border..it’s a non-choice Americans are given here)
