The RS-28 Sarmat is a state-of-the-art heavy liquid-propelled intercontinental ballistic missile now being developed for the Russian army and capable of wiping out parts of the earth the size of Texas. I don’t think Putin is some sort of a saint, but he is VERY smart and a student of history.
He will know that we in American have shown great inertia when it comes to war. We have a historical tendency to start late and unprepared. But if you give us time, we have the resources and the technology to ramp up production of war materiel like no nation in history. We are very difficult to beat when we are united and focused and production is established.
Given that historical record and the increasingly obvious provocation our leaders seem hell bent on stuffing up his nose, could he conclude that the only way to beat us is to strike first? Destroy our ability to “ramp up” in this generation…if ever?

From time to time these stories pop up about Russia and China developing SCARY weapons and typical of communist countries it is they that are ACTUALLY terrified of what the West can do to them hence the military parades to show we are not afraid, etc., etc. Have you notice it is only communist countries that do military parades??
Now we have the big missile story at a time Putin is being surrounded and threatened? Coincidence or the “military parade” syndrome?
It is really Putin that is terrified because if the West won he would lose the tight grip he has on the people’s neck and maybe stop killing all the journalist there! But remember they are harsh people and harsh people deserve harsh leadership.
