The ancient prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and the prince of Kievan Rus'

Before you can understand who, Gog is, you must first understand his history.

Oleg of the land of Rus’ (Russia) was the first Rurikid chief prince to rule over ‘Kievan Rus’. (see notes below) He ruled from 882 to 912 according to East Slavic chronicles.

The grand prince of Kiev (sometimes called the grand duke) was the title of the ruler of Kiev and the ruler of Kievan Rus’ from the 10th to 13th centuries according to East Slavic chronicles.

* Note: The word grand is an adjective for the word chief meaning: superseding others in importance or status.

* Note: The modern-day name for Russia (Rossiya) is derived from the Greek word for the Rus’.

* Note: The Rus’ ruled from the city of Kiev (also given as Kyiv) and so ‘Kievan Rus’ simply meant “the lands of the Rus of Kiev“.

* Note: Rurik (established the Rurikid dynasty) was a semi-legendary leader of the Varangians (Vikings) in Russia and first Prince of Novgorod. He established his rule in 862, a date usually taken as marking the beginning of the first Russian state.

* Note: As the Kievan Rus’ was evolving and separating into different states, what we now know as Russia was being called Rus’ and Russkaya Zemlya (the land of the Rus’).

Something Interesting: Currently, President Zelensky’s seat of authority is in Kyiv Ukraine, the same location that the prince of Russia once ruled over Kievan Rus’.

 

                 

            There were only two dynasties in Russia, they                     were the Rurikoviches and the Romanovs.

             The Rurikids ruled from 862 to 1589

             The Romanovs ruled from 1613 to 1917

 

 

 

 

The last tsar of the Romanovs was Nicholas II. He reigned from November 1894 to March 1917 and he believed that he derived his authority from God, to whom alone he was responsible, and it was his sacred duty to preserve his absolute power intact. Nicholas considered all who opposed him, regardless of their views, as malicious conspirators.

In 1905, Nicholas II was introduced to a mystic healer and prophet named Grigori Rasputin. In 1908 Rasputin was summoned to the palace of Nicholas and Alexandra (Nicholas wife) during one of their hemophiliac son’s bleeding episodes. Rasputin succeeded in easing the boy’s suffering and, upon leaving the palace, warned the parents that the destiny of both the child and the dynasty were irrevocably linked to him, thereby setting in motion a decade of Rasputin’s powerful influence on the imperial family and affairs of state. During this time, he was also part of a religious sect known as the Khlisti sect, who believed that all of man’s desires should be fulfilled.

 

Rasputin predicted that he would die in the hands of a relative of the imperial family. After this death, the Czar and his immediate family will die.

On the night of December 29, 1916, a group of nobles who feared the powerful “holy” man’s influence with Russia’s royal family summoned him to the home of conspirator and began to execute their murderous scheme. Unbeknownst to them, Rasputin would be almost impossible to kill but after several failed attempts, the group finally succeeded.

Rasputin’s prophecy came true.

On the night of July 17, 1918, the entire Russian Imperial Romanov family along with several of their retainers were executed by Bolshevik revolutionaries, often assumed on the orders of Vladimir Lenin, thereby ending the Romanov dynasty’s 304-year rule of Russia.

The Bolsheviks were founded by Vladimir Lenin and Alexander Bogdanov who were far-left, revolutionary Marxists. When they assumed power from the monarch, the dynasty of the grand prince of Russia came to an end.

The Bolsheviks ruled from 1925 to 1952, as the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and from 1952 to 1991 as the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

The Soviet Union collapsed with dramatic speed in the last quarter of 1991. Ukraine was the first of 10 republics to secede from the Union between August and December, largely out of fear of another coup.

Russia quickly lost much territory (Kievan Rus’) that had been acquired during both the dynasties of the Rurikoviches and the Romanovs.

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin (President of Russia: 2000-2008 and 2012 – Current)                   There is much that ties Putin to the past.

On October 1, 2008, Russia’s Supreme Court ruled that the executions (Nicholas II and family had been executed) were acts of “unfounded repression” and granted the family full rehabilitation. By doing this, the Kremlin sent a clear message to the Bolsheviks. That their revolution against the Romanov dynasty had been acts of “unfounded repression”. In other words, there was no justification that warranted a revolution.

 

On 25th January 2016, while speaking at an inter-regional forum of the All-Russia People’s Front, Vladimir Putin denounced Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin, for “brutally executing Russia’s last Tsar along with all his family and servants”. Putin further criticized Lenin, accusing him of placing a “time bomb” under the state, and sharply denouncing brutal repressions by the Bolshevik government, murdering thousands of priests, and innocent civilians.

Putin is not a fan of the Bolshevik style of governing. Therefore, one must wonder, what style of government he most desires.

I propose that he would choose a new dynasty that mirrors the two previous dynasties. I suggest that Putin fully sees himself filling the role as Chief Prince of ‘Kievan Rus’ thus ushering in a third dynasty.

In 2008, Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Georgia – once part of ‘Kievan Rus’.

In 2014, when Russian invaded Crimea– once part of ‘Kievan Rus’.

In 2017, the head of Russia’s Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarch Kirill) announced that the Church was launching an investigation into whether the last Czar of Russia, Nicholas II, and his family were victims of a ritual murder carried out by angry Jews in 1918.

This announcement did not mention Jews specifically nor claimed this ritual had been carried out in Jewish tradition. But the formulation of ritual murder was said by Jewish community figures to clearly evoke an old myth that has blamed the killings on Jews.

Should it come as any surprise that Putin is allowing an investigation into the killings of the last Nicholas II and his family. Although Putin’s past actions have indicated that he is opposed to the Bolsheviks and Leninism, he now appears to be aligning his ideologies with those of his closest associates, Aleksandr Dugin (Mystic) and Kirill (Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church).

    

On 20 October 2008, while on a tour of Latin America, Kirill met with First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Fidel Castro. Castro commended Metropolitan Kirill as his ally in combating “American imperialism”.

In 2009, Kirill became Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus’ and Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church. Prior to becoming the Patriarch of Moscow, he and his predecessor had been agents with the Soviet security agency, the KGB. Kirill was also well known within KGB circles as Agent Mikhailov.

And lastly, to complete the trio, I would like to bring your attention to Aleksandr Dugin, self proclaimed philosopher, mystic, political analyst and fascist.

In 1980, Dugin joined the “Yuzhinsky group”, an avant-garde dissident group which dabbled in Satanism and other forms of the occult.

In the group, he was known for his embrace of Nazism which he attributes to a rebellion against his Soviet raising, as opposed to genuine sympathy for Hitler.

According to Dugin, his mentor Jean Parvulesco, was acquainted with “the representatives of an ‘occult, parallel history’ – mystics, outstanding masons, kabbalists, esoterists, secret agents of various special services, ideologists, politicians, and artists.”

Dugin’s frequent appearances on popular evening shows on Russia’s government-controlled TV channels, or his numerous articles in the many Moscow newspapers and websites ramming the latest Kremlin line down the throats of the Russian people.

In conclusion:

The prophecy of Ezekiel 38 can only occur when a ruler from Russia successfully exerts his authority over Kyiv, Ukraine. As soon as he does, he will once again become the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal otherwise known as ‘Kievan Rus’. Once he assumes his new title, he will then be turned around and led to war against Israel.

Gog may or may not be Putin. We will have to wait and see.
