Bought a large amount of heirloom non gmo seeds large varieties for my area for my prep shed. One of those packs I planted, made a green house garden. Very good results, had many vegetables that I canned last fall. I retained seeds from my crop, it was an experiment to see the result of seeds for off grid survival So this was a meter for how much food to stock pile until can successfully grow a supply. I agree, seeds packs like these are going to be worth more than gold. Its a good thing to experiment and grow a garden to practice this. I built a green house with rolls of pallet wrap. And I grew my vegetables in the green house till harvest keeps it safe from animals eating my vegetables, I have opening at top that bees can fly in, but I did not have much for insects to worry about. Potatoes are small, but I bought cases of instant potatoes packs, heating up the canned veggies I preserved and tossing into a pot of mashed potatoes makes good meals in one pot, like shepherds pie.
