To me what’s more damning than the physical evidence is the behavior of the “authorities” during and after the fires. From blocking escape routes, turning water OFF, and not giving ANY warning, to then denying them donated supplies, building a wall and banning all media or drones. Innocent people don’t do that. I pray they get their karma quick.

It happens so quickly that a living animal was not able to escape and somehow, its hair is still intact above puddles of metal. Somebody make sense out of this for me.

After the Camp Fire, the authorities wouldn’t let us back into Paradise for over 3 weeks. Military personnel and out of town police had roadblocks on every route in. I was told multiple times by the authorities that if I got caught even walking to my house, I would be arrested. The only people who were successfully getting into Paradise at that time were looters, media, and government. Overnight the prices on clothing, food, and hygiene products in Chico increased by 300%-400%. Housing went up substantially too. The price gouging has been devastating and the negative consequences are very clear even five years later. Our power bills are also triple the cost of what they were five years ago. 

Here’s the question everybody keeps asking. Why, two weeks before the Camp Fire, did they close down the golf course on Skyway and build a MASSIVE PG&E camp that was lit up like a Christmas tree all through the night? Why was the main base of operations for the cleanup crews and PG&E workers ALREADY BUILT two weeks before the fire happened? 

Coincidentally, PG&E doubled its annual earnings from 2018-2019, and they have done nothing but break their profit record every year since then. Interesting! The company responsible for 65% of the 25 most destructive wildfires in California history has made record profits since causing the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history. Also coincidentally, Newsom, after signing a deal that ensures PG&E for 21 billion dollars in the instance, they burn down yet another town, somehow was able to afford a $4.2 million dollar mansion in San Francisco off of a $190,000 a year salary. Funny that!

Good luck Maui. I’m assuming you’re up against very similar corruption. I should warn you all, it’s brutal. The fire is one thing. What happens in the years following is nothing short of pure evil.
