Rep. Jerry Nadler slams Benjamin Netanyahu as worst Jewish leader in 2,100 years; the JFK ‘alien threat’

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 4, 2024: US congressman Rep. Jerry Nadler on Friday insulted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling him the worst leader of the Jewish people since an infamous Biblical turncoat.

The Democrat liberal complained that Netanyahu has caused more damage to his own people than anyone since a Jewish monarch of the Hasmonean dynasty inviting Roman invaders into the Holy Land to help him defeat an internal rebellion in the first century BC, in a podcast to Politico, saying “he only got one competitor for the worst Jewish leader in history: that would be (a king who) invited in the Romans.”

The comparison by Nadler was of John Hyrcanus II, a weak Jewish leader at the time ruling over a portion of the modern-day West Bank near Jerusalem several decades before the time of Jesus. Where Hyrcanus II requested help from his Roman to defeat a rival Jewish faction. The tactic backfired in a dramatic way, leading the invaders to effectively subjugate the Jews.

Netanyahu is becoming a much more controversial figure today as he continues to war in Gaza, which is destroying the image of Israel. And this is causing large segments of Americans to sharply criticize Israel over the war in Gaza and are questioning President Biden’s strong support for Israel, as protests erupt all over the United States: at Columbia University and many other campuses in recent weeks. …
