Internally, U.S. European Command (EUCOM) has privately warned the Pentagon that a dwindling stock of missile interceptors and stretched naval resources are making it difficult to simultaneously protect Israel and the U.S. homeland. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have actively retaliated with ballistic missiles targeting U.S. airbases in Jordan, while claiming to have expanded strikes to other regional targets.
