Acuña City operations police chief involved in the murder of Eduardo Moreira

The deputy chief of Operations of Acuña Municipal Police, Rodolfo Castillo Montes, was pointed out as the author of the murder of Jose Eduardo Moreira Rodriguez by the Attorney General of Coahuila.
According to preliminary criminal inquiry A-5/1009/2012 of the state agency, the police chief tricked the victim to go to the place where criminals kidnapped him and later ended his life.
Others involved are Victor Carrizales and José Trinidad Landeros, Municipal Police officers from Acuña City.
The three officers are detained for aggravated and premeditated murder.
State officials are also looking for Victor Landeros, aka the “Iguana”, supervisor in the border town Municipal Police.
Authorities involved in solving the case have information of three men who are the presumed perpetrators of the murder of Jose Eduardo Moreira Rodriguez. The sketches of the three were obtained and respond to the aliases of “The Chagui”, “Flaco (Skinny)” and “Pelon (Bald)”.
The state agency continues the investigation of the existence of banner-messages alluding to criminal groups on the spot where the body of the eldest son of former governor of Coahuila was found.
So far there is no evidence of any.
Coahuila Attorney General asked for collaboration with the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) to participate in the declarations of Salvador Alfonso Martinez Escobedo, aka “La Ardilla (The Squirrel)”, alleged leader of Zetas criminal organization in the Northeast.
The collaboration focuses on the mass escape from the prison of Piedras Negras, on September 17 and the killing of Jose Eduardo Moreira Rodriguez.
The state agency highlighted the collaboration with the Center for Investigation and National Security (CISEN), the Attorney General’s Office, and the Federal Public Security Secretariat.
