Kill List

The Leader of the Free World
who used to frequent Man’s Country, a gay men’s sex club in uptown Chicago,*
meets every Tuesday morning in the White House
with members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the National Security Agency, and other
top brass.  They present The Leader of the Free World
with the weekly Kill List,
listing the names of “terrorists” in Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, or wherever the U.S. wants to suck out oil, minerals, and gain power and control.
Then The Leader of the Free World,
who has private swinger rooms named after him at Man’s Country
(like “the Oral Office” and “the Presidential Suite”),
scans the secret list of “terrorists” and decides which individuals should be eliminated
by unmanned military drones raining down missiles and death in faraway places.
Most of those killed by The Leader of the Free World and his planes
will be innocent civilians—a wedding party perhaps, or a family sitting down
to their evening meal, or some businessmen, while others killed
may be nationalists or socialists or rival factions or even patriots—
but don’t worry, NBC and BBC and the New York Times will faithfully report
that “twenty-two terrorists linked to Al Qaeda were killed in a successful drone attack.”

America, a republic no more,
now ruled by a con man/impostor/usurper/forger,
the charismatic Leader of the Free World
who presides over a fascist empire.
Now the White House
is Abu Ghraib.

he now has the right to assassinate.

while you’re drowning in debt
and a world of grief.
