US Supreme Court : Police can take your DNA once arrested
The US Supreme court justices say it is OK for the Police once any person has been arrested to take the persons DNA sample via a swab of the mouth. This is to reference the persons DNA on a crime database for matching up with any unsolved crimes where unknown suspect evidence was taken from the scenes and was unidentifiable at the time. It has produced involvements and links to actual unknown suspects to older crimes. The High Court also says that it is no different than taking a finferprint or photograph of arrested people and it is just a modern technique used to solve older crimes. It will also be used for other things too.
