Yesterday we had the horrible tragedy of Kansas City Chiefs player Jovan Belcher taking his own life but not before shooting and killing his girlfriend.Now I just learned from Buzzfeed that Eric Eucker, a groundskeeper for the Cleveland Browns, hanged himself in the team’s training facility Saturday, according to multiple reports The Cleveland Plain-Dealer‘s Browns beat writer, Mary Kay Cabot, has a statement from the Browns regarding Eucker’s death.

We’re sad to learn that the NFL has reportedly been rocked by yet another tragic suicide. This latest news, as per Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer, concerns a Cleveland Browns team employee, Eric Eucker, who took his own life at the team facility on Saturday.

      What’s sad about this if it is true, is had the football player not done what he did, we wouldn’t be hearing about this guy — he’s “just” a groundskeeper. This guy’s suicide wouldn’t get as much as a single breath from Costas or any other talking head they parade in front of the tv camera. This is a cheap shot, but do you hear anybody calling for the banning of rope/cord or whatever material was used to carry out this man’s mission? We’re living in some bass-ackwards times people.
