"Seven Truth's About The Church"

Here’s the truth…

1.      
 It’s the
only place you can be promoted to Leader within six months of coming
aboard.  You join June 1st; by
December 1st you’ve given leadership to the Pastor’s Anniversary and
now head of a ministry.

2.      
There you’re taught to be a good steward, yet your
time is abused. 70% of Service has nothing to do with saving souls or praising
God.  Offering and Announcements of “Hats
and Teas”, “100 Women In White”, “Brotherhood Fishing Trips” and all other NON-biblical
foolishness takes up more time than the sermon. 
Where is “Simon Birch” when you need him?

3.      
 It’s not
a College Campus; however you can find more knockoff Sororities and
Fraternities within.   Requirements for most are based on financial
status, automobiles, looks, attire, and what you bring to the table.  Inclusion is taught, but exclusion is
applied.

4.      
Separation of “Church & State” is rallied
and for the most part, “State” stays in their lane.  Sure laws are passed that goes against the
Christian faith, but is this anything new??? 
Sunday Morning services become a Press Conference, Political Rallies,
and sometimes a platform for hate.   Voting decisions are persuaded and comments
like “Neither “Blue” or “Black” is good, go “Red””;  “Saints start praying for a “healing”, if
Romney wins you won’t get any medical attention, so you’re going to need it”
are made…  “Church” invites “State” in by
Pastor’s and Leader’s not “Separating” their “Personal and Political” views
from their “Purpose”.

5.      
It’s an Archaeologist dream and playground….  There are more “Rocks” and “stones” in the
church than any ancient discovery site.  It’s
amazing how the bible talks against “sin”, yet through our own personal
interpretation we’ve placed different sins in different categories.  Breaking it down a little further, if it’s
not the sin YOU are found guilty of, they’re on a speedway to hell.  You know like the “homosexuals”, “murderers”,
“thieves”, “drug addicts”, “alcoholics” “fornicators” and “smokers”, because you
aren’t found guilty of any of these, you pick up a rock.  But what about the girlfriend and wife you
have?  Oh I see, because the bible states
a man should only be with a woman, your sin is not as bad as theirs.  Gotcha….  let us know how that works out for you when
you’re burning and not from an STD.

6.      
Jesus is the head; the CEO; the foundation; the
owner, yet no decisions are run by Him.  It’s
the only place you’ll find everything done in His name, yet the tactics in
which it is done shows little or no resemblances of Him. Ex.   Jesus
said build a multi-million dollar facility, but he didn’t say how you would pay
for it with 100 members.  Now we know
Jesus can do some extreme things as he proved it with the two fish and five
loaves, but was it really Him speaking or your dinner from the night
before? 

7.      
Lastly, it’s the largest promoter of segregation
and discrimination…  Many believers
choose NOT to attend churches because there’s an African American, Caucasian,
Asian, or any other Ethnic group they are not a part of.   Excuses
like “they can’t understand me if they’re not like me” are used.  But it even goes further, if there’s a Female
pastor some will not attend.  Excuses
like “Deborah was a rare case, God only used her because there were no
qualified men” are used.  We’ve
segregated the word, church, and body of Christ so much it’s hard for us to identify
the Church as a whole.

The truth is…  You are
the church and everywhere you go, you represent Christ.  Are you “gracing” or “disgracing” Him?
